A former combined martial artist and luchador enmascarado (Spanish for masked professional wrestler) who has worked generally in Mexico and Japan, he is noted for his work in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he was a World Heavyweight Champion. On June 17, 2009 it was announced that Dos Caras, Jr. had signed a three-year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he wrestled in its developing location Florida Championship Wrestling as Alberto Banderas.
